"EXPLORE YOUR EMOTIONS"
Presented by the Goethe-Institut Ho Chi Minh City, EXPLORE YOUR EMOTIONS invited visitors to experience an interactive artwork where artificial intelligence became a creative partner rather than an invisible technology.
Participants interacted with the installation through facial expression recognition. Instead of identifying individuals, the system translated emotional responses into abstract visual compositions generated in real time. Every participant received a unique digital artwork created from their own emotional resonance.
The installation explored the dialogue between human perception and artificial intelligence, asking how technology can become a medium for empathy, creativity and reflection rather than simple automation. By transforming emotions into evolving visual landscapes, the project encouraged visitors to reconsider their relationship with intelligent systems through direct participation.
The event was accompanied by an artist talk and public discussions introducing the concepts behind the installation and contemporary AI-based artistic practice.

"EXPLORE YOUR EMOTIONS"
The artist duo Juliana and Andrey Vrady from Leipzig, Germany create an interactive work of art that visualizes the dialogue between technology and humans in the age of digitization. The art project documents how technology perceives people.
Can artificial intelligence (AI) understand human better than we understand ourselves?
During the art installation, the artists connect the visitors with a webcam and an integrated facial recognition software.
Various thematic videos serve as stimuli to measure the visitors' response to the images. The software reads the facial expressions and reactions of guests and converts them into biometric data. As a result, the artificial intelligence generates an average of the emotions of each individual visitor to the video shown: for example 40% joy, 30% sadness, 20% anger, 10% shame, etc.
The artist duo Vrady then transforms these emotions into an AI-generated work of art in real time. Based on their own resonances, each visitor receives an individual digital work of art, which is displayed on the outer facade of the historic villa at the venue with the help of computer codes and projectors.
Juliana and Andrey Vrady will explain and interpret the resulting resonance images of light, colors and patterns. Visitors have the opportunity to enter into a dialogue with the artists and take photos of their personal works of art.
The event will be accompanied by a musical program."
