Interactive Light Installation
During Museumsnacht Zwickau 2024, Dream Blender transformed visitors' emotions into a large-scale light installation projected onto the façade of the Kunstsammlungen Zwickau.
Visitors first explored an exhibition inside the museum, where selected works from the collection were presented alongside historical film material documenting the artist Max Pechstein. A camera quietly observed the facial expressions of each participant as they viewed the exhibition.
The installation translated these emotional responses into continuously evolving visual compositions of light, colour and movement. The resulting artwork expanded beyond the museum walls, turning the historic building itself into a living emotional canvas visible throughout the city square.
By connecting individual emotional experiences with public architecture, the installation explored how personal perception can become part of a collective cultural experience.
